Independent Thinker Head Line

The Independent Thinker exists in the hands when the head line is separate from the life line, detached from the life line. The head line is about how you think. The life line represents family/tribe/clan. Tribe includes family of origin, extended family, culture, race, religion and/or spiritual perspectives, school training where you grew up, that influenced your thinking and how you approach problem-solving or addressing issues.  

The separation can be from 1/8" to as much as 1/2" in more extreme cases, like this hand print. 

What matters most to people with this marking  is that they are designed to come up with solutions that are outside "tribal consciousness." 

Here is how most people's head/life line connection looks: they start out as the same line. 

The Independent Thinker shows up about 20% of the time. That means that 80% of the people with whom you interact may not see the world through the same filter. They don’t think independently from the tribe. And thus may feel uncomfortable, confused or resistance to your solutions. 

How you think, process mental data and information is determined by the type of head line you have. As an independent thinker, your style of problem-solving mentally is to be "ahead of your time" with alternative ways from how 80% of the world views solutions.
